FRIENDS OF THE
WESTPORT COUNCIL ON AGING, INC.
Supporting the Senior Center

The FWCOA held its annual meeting on Monday, June 9, and elected the following officers for the FY2009:  Peter Forrester, President; Rosemary Lenrow, Vice-President; Thelma Sullivan, Treasurer; and Susan “Susie” Knapp, Secretary.
Monthly board meetings resume on the 3rd Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Senior Center.
We are delighted with the community’s enthusiastic response to the first-ever FWCOA Historic House Tour.  Thanks to all who contributed time, talent, and good will.  A special thanks to the owners who gracously opened their homes, to all the volunteers who agreed to be captains and docents, to the Westport Art Group, Westport Point United Methodist Church, and The Paquachuck Inn, and to many, many friends who attended.  As you know, proceeds of the Tour support the Westport Council on Aging.
