There will be a celebration of the 250th year of the birth of Paul Cuffe, Westport's most illustrious resident (1759-1817).  The event will take place on June 13th at 3 pm at the Quaker Meetinghouse in Central Village. All are welcome to join.  There will be a ceremony and a few words about Cuffe with refreshments afterwards.  It should be a poignant event and will let you know how important Cuffe was in his time and why his memory is important in this modern age.
