CORRESPONDENCE REQUIRING ACTION AND/OR READING

1. A request was received from the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security regarding a policy for Zero Tolerance for safety belt enforcement.
2. An invitation was received for the “Smooth Cruise” event planned to celebrate the improvements made along Route 6.
3. A letter of recommendation was received from Safety Officer Jeffrey Majewski regarding the Narragansett Bay Wheelmen’s 39th Annual 100-mile bicycle ride.
4. An invitation was received from the Council on Aging who are hosting “Meet Congressman Barney Frank” at the Westport Senior Center.
5. Notice was received from the MA Department of Transportation regarding the 2010 Notice of Technical Assistance Opportunity.

CONSIDER / RECONSIDER

1. A request for vacation rollover by Town Administrator.
2. A request to carry over comp time for Sr. Health Agent and Landfill employee.
3. A request from Town Clerk for lighting of Meeting Posting Board – mandated for July 1st.
4. Approval of End of Year Budget Transfers for FY ’10.
5. A request to install a Portable Defibrillator in the Town Hall donated by the Westport Portuguese American Civic League.
6. Annual Appointments.
