Invitation to 40B Forum on Ballot Question 2 on October 21, 2010
Westport Department and Committee Chairs are invited to join area residents at a Brown Bag Lunch Forum on 40B sponsored by the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
The Forum will be held on Thursday October 21, at 12-1PM at the Town Hall Annex. The intent of the Forum is to provide people with information about Ballot Question #2 in the November 2 state election. Question #2 is to repeal the Affordable Housing law known as 40B.
The meeting will include a presentation on 40B by Carl Nagy-Koechlin, Executive Director of South Shore Housing. This is an opportunity to learn more about 40B developments in Westport, with time for questions and answers. The Affordable Housing Trust Fund is a fairly recent Westport board that was approved at the 2009 Annual Town Meeting. For more information call 508 636 8862.
