The Town of Westport, a seacoast community in the Southcoast region with a population of 15,355+ and an operating budget of over $30 million, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Interim Town Administrator.  This individual will serve temporarily as the chief administrative officer of the Town, responsible to a five-member Board of Selectmen.  Working knowledge of municipal finance, budgets, procurement, personnel policies/practices, computers and intergovernmental relations required.  The individual must have excellent leadership experience and strong communication skills.  Prior experience as a municipal administrator desired.  Salary negotiable, depending on qualifications.  Please send a resume with a cover letter to Richard Spirlet, Chairman Board of Selectmen, Town Hall, 816 Main Road, Westport, MA 02790.  Search will remain active until position is filled.  AA/EOE
