Mosquito Spraying

The Bristol County Mosquito Control Project (BCMCP) will begin taking requests May 28th and weather permitting begin spraying June 3rd, between the hours of 2am and sunrise pending weather conditions.  Temperatures need to be above 55 degrees during those hours for applications to be made, so delays in June are very common.

Please keep in mind that BCMC does not enter private property.

Spraying is done from the truck along the street in front of your property.

Residents can find information on our website www.mass.gov/eea/bristolcountymosquitocontrol including a tentative spray schedule for which towns are done each day. Also daily, an updated list of street names will be posted for residents to see if their location is on the schedule for the following spray day. All this information is weather dependent and can change if needed due to mosquito populations or virus detections.
